Chinese Internet company Tencent (TCEHY) is said to be looking to acquire privately held Rovio Entertainment, the maker of the popular "Angry Birds" game app, sources close to the matter told The Information. The Information网站收到相关消息，中国互联网公司腾讯集团有意收购私人持股的路威公司，该公司曾制作了“愤怒的小鸟”游戏软件。
Tencent is said to be just one of several companies to approach Rovio.

The company is considering offers, but the same source said that Rovio may opt to stay independent and could go public at the end of this year.

A deal for Rovio would be close to $3 billion, but no such transaction has been reached yet, another source said.
