2014年假日安排：说好的除夕年夜饭呢？
2014年放假安排正式发布啦。明年终于不用为放假连上7天班了！不用连上7、8天班了，但是除夕不再放假了。看到这个消息，让不少网友“青天霹雳”。 除夕不放假？！你怎么看？那些远离家乡的人什么时分才能回家？年夜饭还吃不吃？春晚还看不看？
China has 7 legal festivals in a year, on which all Chinese people will be on vacation. They are New Year’s Day, Spring Festival, Qingming Festival, May Day, Dragon Boat Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day.
中国一年有7大法定假日，法定假期期间，全中国人们都要放假休息。7个法定假日包括元旦、春节、清明节、五一劳动节、端午节、中秋节和国庆节。
Some people have a half day off on the following four holidays or anniversaries including Women’s Day, Youth Day, Children’s Day and Army Day of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army. Women have half day off on Women’s Day. Young people over 14 years of age have a half day off on Youth Day. Children under 14 years old have a day off on Children’s Day. Active members of the army have a half-day holiday on Army Day.
另外一部分是只有特别人群在假日当天放半天的节日，比如妇女节、五四青年节、儿童节、建军节。妇女节当天，所有女性可放半天，青年节所有14岁以上青年可以放半天，儿童节即14岁以下儿童放半天，服役军人建军节放半天。
People celebrate many other festivals but they do not have time off: Arbor Day, International Nurses’ Day, Anniversary of the Founding of the Chinese Communist Party, Teachers’ Day and Journalists’ Day.
中国人还庆祝很多其它的节日，只不过国家不放假，比如植树节、国际护士节、建党节、教师节和记者节。
2014年假期安排：
一、元旦：1月1日放假1天。
二、春节：1月31日至2月6日放假调休，共7天。1月26日(星期日)、2月8日(星期六)上班。
三、清明节：4月5日放假，4月7日(星期一)补休。
四、劳动节：5月1日至3日放假调休，共3天。5月4日(星期日)上班。
五、端午节：6月2日放假，与周末连休。
六、中秋节：9月8日放假，与周末连休。
七、国庆节：10月1日至7日放假调休，共7天。9月28日(星期日)、10月11日(星期六)上班。
