最好的礼物 The Best Gift

Today was my father’s birthday. Early in the morning, he went out to work as usually. But I felt nervous and I wanted to give him a surprise. After class, I rushed home and my mother had prepared the stuff for me. I washed them first and then did as my mother told me. She always wanted to cook and I refused because I needed to make sure I could finish it by myself. It was really hard to cook, but I insisted and finally made it. When my father came home, he smiled and said this was the best gift. 
今天是我爸爸的生日。他像往常一样一大早就去工作了。但是，我很紧张，我想给他一个惊喜。我叫妈妈教我做饭，这样我就可以为我爸爸做一顿晚餐了。下课后，我跑回家，妈妈已经帮我准备好材料了。我先洗了一下这些东西，然后按照妈妈教我的方法去做。她总是想自己动手，不过都被我拒绝了，因为我需要确保自己能完成。做饭真的很艰，但是我坚持了，最后也成功了。爸爸回到家时，他笑了笑，说这是最好的礼物。
