A good teacher, in our minds, means that giving us all knowledge he knows absolutely, supervising students strictly, teaching students by holding their hands, assigning proper homework to students and being kind enough to give students time to relieve pressure and so on. Of course, these are my previous ideas which show my immaturity to a certain extent. But those ways catering to examination-oriented education are necessary before stepping into university. With the age and experience growing, my thoughts become mature gradually.
在我们心目中一个好老师，意味着毫无保留的给我们所有的知识，严格管理学生，手把手的教学生，适当的给学生布置作业并足够友善的给学生时间来缓解压力等。当然，这些都是我以前的想法，在某种程度上展示了我的不成熟。但那些方式在上大学前对应试教育是很有必要。随着年龄和经验的增长，我的思想逐渐成熟。
From the perspective of a college student, it’s quite ridiculous that a college teacher still follow the teaching patterns of middle school because of the freedom and open of university. In my humble opinion, first of all, as a college teacher, the most basic is that teachers should possess good professional quality and be proficient in their teaching subjects, which means that they will not only explain the text thoroughly, but also tell students more extracurricular knowledge on the topic to 【纵览全球英语资讯、洞察全球英文信息，尽在英语翻译学习网（enfanyi.com）你的全球英语指南】broaden their horizons and make them throw light on the text deeply. What’s more, in university---- an academic palace, teachers should regard students as their friends to establish good relationship between teachers and students, and create an equal platform for students to speak their mind freely. This way of teaching benefits teachers as well as students.
从大学生的角度来看，大学教师仍然遵循中学教学模式是相当可笑的因为大学是自由开放的。在我看来，首先，作为一名老师，最基本的是，教师应具备良好的职业素质，熟悉教学课程，这意味着他们将不仅仅全面的解释课本，也要告诉学生更多的与课程相关的课外知识来拓展他们的视野，让他们对课本有深入的理解。同时，教师要调动学生的积极性，让整个班级气氛活跃、善于提问，鼓励学生独立思考，培养他们的创造力，而不是让他们死记硬背。更重要的是，在大学----一个学术殿堂，教师应把学生当做他们的朋友建立良好的师生关系，并为学生创造一个表达思想的自由平等的平台。这样教学可以是学生和老师相互受益。
To sum up, college is different from middle school, so there is a great difference between them in teaching. Accordingly, college teachers should hold different teaching methods towards college students. Only this can make a good college teacher.
总之，大学不同于高中，所以在教学中存在很大的差异。因此，高校教师应该对大学生有不同的教学方法。只有这样才能成为一个好的大学老师。
