就在这几天，美国苹果公司再一次成为焦点，只不过并非什么新设备新功能，而是因为一款地图软件。而且这样的地图软件实际上却别有用心，名为提供交通资讯、方便市民出行，实则通报警方行踪、便利暴徒从事违法活动。
“乱港暴徒”立场地图软件
据香港《南华早报》报道，此前苹果商店里上架了一款可以跟踪抗议活动的地图软件。这款名为“HKmap.live全港抗争即时地图”的软件，以众包的形式提供香港警方与抗议者的位置。苹果于10月4日批准其上架，5日开始可以下载。
Apple has allowed a Hong Kong location map that tracks protest activities to go on its App Store. HKmap.live, an app that crowdsources the location of police and protesters in Hong Kong, received approval from Apple on October 4 and was made available for download on October 5, according to the developer.

开发者宣称，此前，苹果一度拒绝软件上架，理由是“包含违法内容，或是为违法活动提供便利，允许及鼓励违法活动”，“允许用户逃避法律”。
Apple initially turned down the developer’s application to list HKmap.live on its App Store because it “contains content – or facilitates, enables and encourages an activity – that is not legal” and “allowed users to evade law enforcement”, according to the developer.
此外，开发者还宣称“苹果假定我们的用户都是违法者，从而逃避法律，事情并非如此。”
该软件在苹果商店重新上架后，其开发者在推特上称，苹果公司“做了正确的决定”。
那么，事情真如软件开发者所言吗？
据《环球时报》英文版报道，软件并非标记暴乱，而是提供警方部署的相关细节，包括警车数量等。同时，在软件及其网页版上，用狗脸表情标记警员，此为暴乱者对香港警方的侮辱性代号。
The Global Times found that, instead of marking riot sites, the app provides detailed information on police deployment including how many police vehicles are stationed at a location. Both the app and the website mark police officer with the emoji of dog, which is the rioters' frequently used insulting name for Hong Kong police. 
很明显，这明明是支持“乱港暴徒”的立场！
而且《环球时报》新媒体报道中还指出，为HKMap.live推出其离线版地图的研发者“BackupHK”，也同样是“乱港暴徒”的支持者。“BackupHK”还在它们的官网中“直白”地宣称，他们做这些地图应用，就是为了保护“香港人”不受“黑警”的“镇压”。
10月9日中国外交部发言人耿爽主持例行记者会。有记者提问：中国官媒指责苹果公司支持香港示威者，称苹果应用商店的一款应用程序可帮助示威者识别香港警察的行踪。中方是否就此与苹果公司沟通？是否已要求苹果公司下架该应用？
Q: Chinese state media accused Apple of supporting terrorists in Hong Kong. They say an app available in the App Store is helping protesters to identify police in Hong Kong. Has China spoken with Apple on this issue and did China ask the company to remove the app?
耿爽回答：我不了解你说的具体情况。我能告诉你的是，近来在香港发生的极端暴力犯罪行为挑战香港的法治和社会秩序，威胁香港市民的生命财产安全，也破坏了香港的繁荣稳定。任何有良知和正义感的人都应该对此予以抵制和反对，而不是支持和纵容。
A: I'm not aware of the specifics you talked about. I can tell you that the recent extremist, violent and criminal activities in Hong Kong have challenged Hong Kong's rule of law and social order, threatened the life and property of Hong Kong citizens, and undermined the SAR's prosperity and stability. Anyone with a good conscience and a sense of justice should oppose such criminal activities instead of supporting or condoning them.
为暴徒“护航”，居心何在？
在10月8日晚，《人民日报》在微博等平台评论，点名苹果公司为暴徒“护航”，居心何在！
评论中指出：
有这么一款地图，名为提供交通资讯、方便市民出行，实则通报警方行踪、便利违法活动。就是这么一款地图，在苹果APP商店里堂而皇之上架，让香港的暴徒大摇大摆出来行凶，又大摇大摆逃避追捕。地图的开发者毫不避讳，要为暴徒“导航”，用心险恶；苹果公司的批准不加掩饰，要为暴徒“护航”，居心何在？
Apple recently allowed a map app to be available on its App Store. This mobile app claims to provide transportation information for the convenience of the public, but is actually used to identify the whereabouts of the police, allowing the rioters in Hong Kong to go on violent acts. The developers of the map app had ill intentions by providing a “navigation service” for the rioters. Apple’s approval for the app obviously helps rioters. What was its true intention?
香港正值严峻时期，市民苦骚乱久矣。这几天，暴徒胆更大，暴行更稠密，暴力更严重。此时此刻，苹果公司不问黑白、不看情势，置有目共睹的事实和真相于不顾，在先前本已拒绝该地图上架的情况下，却又选择在特殊时点批准这款应用上架香港的苹果应用商店，为暴力乱港之徒“大开中门”，是有意要做“帮凶”吗？
Hong Kong is experiencing severe times and its people are tired of the unrest. In the past few days, the rioters have become more audacious and have conducted violent acts more frequently. Apple chose to approve the app in the App Store in Hong Kong at this point. Does this mean Apple intended to be an accomplice to the rioters?
作为一家有国际影响力的企业，苹果公司一直享有较高声誉。好的声誉需要保护，好的品牌需要维护，容忍自己的平台为煽惑违法行为的应用开道，不怕败坏了自己的形象、伤害了消费者的心吗？一家企业自有自己的行事标准，一家企业也当有应有的社会责任，弃是非于不顾、让恶行更猖狂，客观上置更多用户于险境，苹果公司真的想清楚了吗？
As a company with international influence, Apple has always enjoyed a high reputation. A company has its own standards of conduct, but should also have its social responsibilities. If Apple abandons its responsibilities and let violent acts get worse, it puts more users at risk.
暴徒的地图只是一例。在香港苹果音乐商店里，还上架了一首“港独”歌曲。这样一首包藏不轨之心的歌也是曾经下架，如今又“死而复生”，还是在同样的时间节点上得到了苹果公司的批准。一而再，再而三，苹果公司的连串行动让人莫名其妙，让人不得不遐想其行事的内在逻辑。
The map app is just the tip of the iceberg. In the Apple Music Store in Hong Kong, there was also a song advocating “Hong Kong independence.” Such a song was once removed from the music store and has resurrected.
商业的归商业，政治的归政治，没人想把苹果公司扯到香港正在发生的风波中。但现在人们已有合理想象，苹果公司自己要跳进来，要把商业和政治乃至商业活动和违法行为搅在一起。这种不智、这样鲁莽，会给苹果公司招致多大的风浪，苹果公司需要深思。
Business is business, and politics is politics. Nobody wants to drag Apple into the lingering unrest in Hong Kong. But people have reason to assume that Apple is mixing business with politics, and even illegal acts. Apple has to think about the consequences of its unwise and reckless decision.
外国的一些公司大概不明白中国人的情感和思维方式。历史上饱受过欺凌的中国人从来没有像今天这样团结，在涉及大是大非问题上眼睛里容不得沙子。让“毒软件”大行其道，便是对中国人情感的背叛；对香港事务的各种歪曲，都违背中国人民的民意。
Foreign companies probably don’t understand the sentiments and way of thinking of Chinese people. Our ancestors had been bullied. But today we are united more than ever. On issues involving principles, we have zero tolerance for wrongdoings. Providing a gateway for “toxic apps” is hurting the feelings of the Chinese people, twisting the facts of Hong Kong affairs, and against the views and principles of the Chinese people.
苹果公司和其他这样的企业，都应该明辨是非，也应该明白一个道理：中国好，香港好，他们的市场才会更广阔、更可持续。
Apple and other corporations should be able to discern right from wrong. They also need to know that only the prosperity of China and China’s Hong Kong will bring them a broader and more sustainable market.
苹果公司，想清楚了吗？
